Flight and booking policies

Bookings are essential.

Flights are subject to weather conditions on the day of travel.

The duration of flights and tours, including itineraries and durations advertised on this website may be affected by weather, air traffic control and other conditions on the day.

Payment Terms

All prices listed within this website include GST unless otherwise stated.

We require full payment prior to the flight unless prior arrangement has been made with us.

Pay when you book online using PayPal or credit card.

Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer by prior arrangement.

If you are booking on behalf of an organisation or government department, have a purchase order and require an , contact us by email on fly@12apostlesflights.com.au or call us on 1300 341 006 to arrange this, at the time of booking.

Cancellation by 12 Apostles Flights

Passenger safety is our most important consideration.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone flights due to weather, safety or operational circumstances.

If we cancel a flight due to adverse weather conditions or technical issues we will refund the amount in full or rebook the flight at no extra cost.

Cancellation by passengers

If you need to cancel your flight please give as much notice as possible.

The following cancellation charges apply:

  • Cancel 7 days or more before your scheduled flight – no cancellation charge
  • Cancel 1 to 7 days before your scheduled flight – a 50% cancellation charge applies.
  • Cancel 24 hours or less before your flight – a 100% cancellation charge applies.

Refund policy

If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours prior to your flight, we refund the cost of the flight in part or full (as described above) using the method with which you paid.  For example, if you paid with PayPal we refund to your PayPal account. If you paid with credit card, we refund to the card you paid with.

Drugs and Alcohol

No passenger will be permitted in the flight if they are intoxicated.

All passengers must ensure that they do not carry or possess any drugs. Appropriate authorities may conduct a search if required.

Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods are items or substances that when transported by aircraft are a risk to health, safety, property or the environment.

These include obvious things, such as: explosives, radioactive materials, flammable liquids, dangerous or volatile chemicals, strong acids, compressed gases, poisons and aerosols.

Everyday items that can cause problems include toiletries, aerosols, tools and lithium batteries.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are fully aware of the dangers and types of dangerous goods that can not be carried by you or in your luggage on board the aircraft.

Changing the dates of your booking

If you cannot fly on the day you’ve booked we may be able to reschedule your booking, subject to availability.

  • Change 7 days or more before your scheduled flight – no charge
  • Changes requested less than 7 days may incur a fee Contact us for details.

 

No show

If you make a booking and do not arrive at the scheduled date and time (called a no show), you will be charged in full.

Luggage

Light handbags and small backpacks are permitted on flights. Please do not bring large suitcases.

We are not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused in the handling of passenger’s equipment, property or luggage, including as a result of negligence.

Passenger Refusal Policy

In accordance with Australian Aviation Law, we reserve the right to refuse any passenger who, in the opinion of the pilot, may provide a hazard to aviation or to the safety and comfort of other passengers.

Passengers may be refused for reasons including but not limited to: perceived intoxication; erratic, offensive or threatening behaviour; or implied risk to the safety of the flight.

A pilot or staff member’s decision to refuse a passenger is final and will be upheld. In the event a passenger is refused, full charges may apply.

Insurance

We are fully insured for all our flights and operations we undertake, including passenger liability insurance, as required by Australian aviation law.
